I have heard rummors that some of the late model year 2000 pathfinders were given a 3.5 instead of the standard 3.3. Can any one prove or disprove this rummor?

Uh that is no rumor. It was called the 2000.5 Pathfinder and QX4. In 2000 the cars got redesigned but it had no power comapred to the rest of the suv's in its class so they gave the cars the 3.5 engine in 2000.5
