Hello All,

I am very interested in the Super 7 style kits out there and since I don't have the funds to purchase an actual Lotus Super 7, I wanted to know what everyone thought about the Tiger Racing Super 6.

I would be using a 4age from a Toyota Corolla GTS here in Canada, I figure an engine putting out around 120hp or so would be good enough for a car of this size. What are recommendations for other powerplants or options you can get with the car that I should look into? Keep in mind that I'm in Canada and I don't want to order an engine from Europe or anything of that sort. Also i'm looking to keep the car around 150hp or so, nothing crazy, just something fast and light.

Any info is appreciated.

Thanks

Roby

The Toyota unit is just about perfect for the 7 type car, in the UK what is putting us off using it is the cost of getting it set up for RWD, unless you are lucky enough to find a RWD Corolla (almost impossible in the UK) the costs can mount up.
The Ford Zetec (if available) would be the one I’d go for.

I have the same style car buts it is an MK Indy chassis and I have dropped in an 1100cc bike engine - Suzuki GSXR. Car drives but is not road legal yet, but on my (long) drive it is fast!!!!
