They were nice vehicles to drive. We took them on a offroad course built for smaller vehicles (Xterras, Land Rovers, etc). The Nissan guys put a few dents in them (driver error), but the suspension (coil overs) was extremely stable and predictable on offcamber situations, plus the 350hp in 4x4 Lo made them crall over everything with the slightest amount of throttle (barely over idle). Only bad thing on a course like this was the wheelbase, but one t-turn took care of that. They hauled a big ass boat with no problem at all, and more than a few guys throttled down from a gravel stop up a good grade and the trucks didn't even shudder. Nice vehicles I must say. The crew cab was probably the nicest, and the one I would buy if I was in the market.
Glad you liked the pics. We had a lot of fun on the trip. Next up the new Xterras.
BTW,
http://www.offroadacademy.com/ organized the whole offroading event and gave a great tour including their offroad course.
