Love IT

My dad bought the v8 SR5 2x4 and we love that truck, every time he drives it he has a smile on it. The thing is quieter then our 99 lexus and its smoother. Cant wait till it gets 1000 miles on it so we can pound the gas on it.

I once drove my uncles old crappy truck (but his daily driver) over a 200 pound dolly wheel. It was lodged between the frame and the exhuast header. It got soooo close to destroying the power steering, header, and suspension. But it didn't. And no one even mentions it anymore.

yeah just remeber to wash.

i go semi-mudin in my truck, in a empty parking lot near my school, it has a big tree in the middle and the mud surrounds it .

my friend and i do donuts around the tree in the mud funner than shit.

until one day we were going around not knowing where the other guy was and was about 2 feet stopping from hitting each other

This truck is awesome. I driven various from the Big 3 and there is no comparison to the Tundra. I love my 2002 Tun and will probably buy another one here in a few years or so. Go to TUNDRASOLUTIONS.COM for some good info.

Had mine for a week. A good friend has 2000 SR5 I've loved for yrs. New for 03 is a better looking nose, siding rear window, and longer console. Love this truck.

well the truck is over a year old now, 24,000 miles.

Complaints: squeeky bed, had all the shocks changed. Engine vibrates roughly at idle and rear view mirror shakes a lot. Had to install side steps because getting in and out wears out the side of the seat.

Overall: we love it, its fun and pwoerful. Good car to buy, hopefully those problems are taken care of for the 03 model.

Thats scary in a 2x4, I took my moms RX300 off roading in a foot of mud, and it pulled us out since it was all wheel drive. But I dont trust RWD for that, my friends excursion got stuck in grass...so if I off road is only in a 4x4
