there's like 4 palces around there man, all great for racing, cops come we hide till they leave and come back out lol. i don't think they really care or they'd just stay. although there wasa bad accident between a 5.0 and Civic.Fucking civic hit the 5.0 and the 5.0 spun out and took out the civic.

why would you want to bring a gun? i went there last sat and nobody messed with me ,but it is kind of wild out there it was my first time out there and there was allot of people from my part of town watching the races.

There's some parts of Hartford I would not want to venture into! I still haven't been to the Berline turnpike, but hopfully soon!

The pike is not for racing... the pike is good for chillin only... is not for racing because it has heavy traffic, too many cops (included undercovers)!!! The Airport Road was good for real street racing but the fuc***g cops are everywhere... you cant stay at the parking lot... you cant stay at the gas station... and too many tow trucks too!!! I dont know if any guy from here heard about East Longmeadow in MA (Industrial Drive--street for street racing)... thanks guys!!!

Anyone around the Rt 7 connector by norwalk/wilton? I've only seen two cops, and I drive it almost every day.

I might be moving out to Hartford CT...whatz the real deal out there? Is it a dangerous place to live and what not? What the hell are the races like out there, and the laws....thatz pretty much all i do out here in Cali, so i would like as much info about it out there.....should i roll strapped to the races out there? Lots of ricers but lots of fast cars too. Hartford "likes" to think their "badass" but its not that bad. I mean not like NY or LA. The worst city in CT is New Haven. As far as the laws, they are pretty strict with street racing. Just gotta be smart about where you race.

ONE TOWN.... ENFIELD! They have like a two mile long straitaway! I live in North Canaan but my aunt lives in Enfield. And also is there any good places that any of you know about near me?

Oh the best place to highway race is the merit park way (AKA first highway made in US) They took all the nasty turns out so its such a SWEET! road all the way to newyork! And theirs a tunnel :sunglasse. But what makes it so cool is the cops ALLOW you to race. Friday nights the cops turn a blind eye to racing on there. I can not explain to you how sweet of a road it is... nice easy turns, long straights, and did I mention it has a tunnel? :naughty:

Aight yall i got a place wit no cops. It aint like the berlin ternpike or nothin but its no street racin on it yet and it could be hott. The merit parkway in hamden. yeah yeah yeah i know. no place to stop. but you can just get off an exit and there are always parkin lots right next to exit. we need to get this racin here runnin. the pike is gay cuz of the 5-O but what do yall think about the Merit Parkway. around exit 60?

Before I moved to Texas, I lived in East Longmeadow. Gotta be carefull around there, it can get a little trafficy sometimes, and there are a ton of small suburbs that cops love to hide in. So I'd watch out. Has Hartford gotten that bad? I used to go hang out there with friends all the time...?

yeap, it is bad now... only if you go after 1 oclock you will be fine.

If anyone lives around northwestern CT like Canaan, I know of a ton of places to race a little north of there in Mass. like Sheffield and Great Barrington (where I live, there's only 2 cops on at night and at least 10 different places to race). If you're interested, I can tell you where to race around there.

P.S. Every Friday night we usually have have a party on one of the biggest race spots around there. You can tell if there are any cops. We even have some muscle cars go at it, i.e. Pro drag racing Nova, El Camino w/ modded big block, etc.

I got the perfect spot it is 1 ½ miles from the pike never any cops and it is on the town line good for getaways it has 4 lanes 2 going each ways and its all industrial buildings no houses so no cops I run test runs all day this is better then any Hartford spot I have ever been too about 2 miles long so no problem slowing down from 140 to 10 mph turning around room tons of parking for spectators out of the way
Goggle it john Downey drive in new Britain 06051 the only problem with cops is they drive hemi chargers so running is not a good thing to do but I love it meet up at the pike and off to the races

And its not that great of a spot for more than a quick pull...140 is asking to kill yourself there and there is a park with kids at the other end. Theres much better spots in new britian. The park is closed at 8pm you don’t run in that direction anyways on less you want to blow trough a 4 way light and die and 140 mph runs are out of the ? I was saying it’s a good spot to top out at and slow down and who cares if it’s on the web its not like any one doesn’t know we are not like Hartford. Racing on the streets are not a big problem hear at all you said there is a better spot were let me know any spot that has 2 lanes going in the same direction 2 miles long on a town line on block away with plenty of breaking room and room to spar with out being on the highway not talking shit but I would like to see more people round my way getting there ass spanked on my turf we could run I hope you got something bad ass
