Has anyone had to replace main bearings?

I have a new Toyota 4runner, and had to have the main bearing replaced. The truck is only a year old. I first heard the "ticking" noise 3 months after I bought it. Do I have a lemon?

Re: Has anyone had to replace main bearings?

My 1990 4runner developed a knocking sound about 45k attributed to worn bearings. Toyota gave me a new short block. Been running fine since, almost 110k now.
