Black Trim

I have black trim around my windows on my '93 Cherokee that was faded white when I waxed it. Will metal polish return it to black, or is there something else I could use (it is a metal trim, but the door guard is plastic, but I'm not worried about that).

wax is hard to get off trim, well come to think of it i dont think i ever got it off. try using like some baby oil on the trim or something. if that doesnt work id say f**** it and go buy this stuff called black chrome at your pep boys/auto store if they have it and cover your trim up with that. it'll probably look better than the original trim anyway
