My first kill story in years :) Cougar vs. 00 Civic Si.

As you know I've kinda out grown the stop light to stop light race. Only done 3 total in my life BUt this one he was asking for.

I was heading to the mall and coasting to the next red light as a maroon Mercury Cougar flies by me not realizing (noob!) that the light is red and of course he has to slam on his brakes.

As I'm coasting to a stop next to him he revs on me again and flicks his middle finger at me! What?!?! And just then the light turns green and he's moving already.

I thought about it for a split second and by this time he was about 1 car ahead, so I said what the hell and just poured on the gas. Speed limit was 55mph so I had some time to play.

1st gear I pulled my bumper up to his door, he shifts to 2nd. Then I shift to 2nd and now we're even, then he shifts to 3rd and that's when I start pulling on him. By the top of my 2nd gear I'm 1/4 ahead, then I shift to 3rd and I'm really pulling past him. By the next light and into redline of 3rd I'm already 2 cars past him. Hehehe...

I slam on the brakes and wait at the light. I look over and he slides down in his seat and drives by granny style That was priceless

Maybe he was granny-shiftin' and not double-clutching like he should?

Nice kill.

My other opinion would have been better as to not race him, but how could you pass up a chance like that?
