keyless entry 96 Tahoe

Keyless entry on a 96 tahoe

I could use some help.

I have one remote that works with my (recently transplanted) receiver, but I cannot get the other remotes I have to program.

I have tried Grounding pin #8 on the DLC, and after the doors lock/unlock I hold down the Lock and unlock buttons on my remote. Well, I never get anything to happen after this. Yes, I have checked the batteries of the 4 remotes I have, and they are all good.

Does anyone have a clue what I might be doing wrong?

I would help if I could but don't have much expierience with anything older than a 1998.

Drop me an email @ john@automotiveforums.com and remind me of this post and your situation and I will go out to the shop and look in the paper manuel and see what I can find for you.
