Tinted tail lights using VHT Nite Shades (What about clear coat?)zytariuk 07-13-2003, 08:48 PM Alright, last week I tinted my tail lights using VHT Nite Shades. However, it doesn't have that nice and glossy look at all...it's very dull. What type of clear coat will i need? Someone told me I need some kind of enamel clear coat...any help would be greatly appreciated. Also, where can i buy this enamel clear coat? darkaccord 07-13-2003, 09:58 PM Your supposed to tint the inside of the lens. zytariuk 07-13-2003, 11:42 PM Originally posted by darkaccord Your supposed to tint the inside of the lens. Actually you're supposed to tin the outside of the lense. At least with this VHT Nite Shades stuff. Is there a certain way to make them shine instead of flat? Do I apply clear coat, and if so what kind? Thanks. Automotive Network, Inc., Copyright ©2012
