I am after a decent pod filter that possibly doesn't need to be oiled..

Then again I don't want to pay big $$$

I am also looking at this partion for the under bonnet filter..

I think i just like the snorkle that is above...

I'm using a HKS mushroom type pod at the moment, sounds great. I can't comment on performance though cause it came with it.

The HKS ones do need oiling though, and the next oil change I'll be doing the pod as well.

About the partition thingy. I got a one metre square piece of that foam from Clark Rubber (Canberra) for $30, I've heard it cheaper in other states :(

But I wouldn't bother about the $90 one, try and get your hands on this foam stuff from a shop, get some cardboard (to make a template) and do it yourself. HEAPS cheaper

....I have a plan:
1. cut out a template
2. draw round it on graph paper
3. halve the dimensions
4. scan the bitch and post it on the free horsepower thread

......then you'll just have to print it off, double the size, and cut it out...

.......sound like a plan?? (just need enough spare time though)

That would be great. I've got plans to make one that looks as factory as possible. The cops around here seem to think that running a pod filter is illegal!!!!

I wonder if the after market air filters on the old EH Holdens' and so on are illegal too????
