I'm looking at getting a '96 4Runner and I haven't test drove one yet. If I fold down the back seats, is there enough room for me (6'1") to sleep comfortably? They didn't remodel until 2001, so anyone with years in between with input is greatly appreciated.

I'm 6'4" and I was just a bit too long, I might have been able to do it at an angle but there was two of us. This was during my national guard drill...:bigthumb: Its a 2000 btw

Well a friend of mine has a '98 4-Runner limited and I borrowed it from him during this past year at college to have a night out with a girl friend...and it worked awesome! :ylsuper: But I'm 5'10" too?

Im about 6 foot.... im 19... and i have slept in my 96 limited 4runner many times... i dunno if u know but when u slide the 2 front seats all the way forward... and take out the head rests they fit perfectly with the back seats and im sure any one can sleep as comfortably as possible in any suv.... hope that helps...
