Trails in MA...Craisy Daisy 11-16-2001, 01:00 PM Further to this thread here (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/t11081.html), are there many trails in MA? If so, what is the difficulty rating? I will be in MA for Thanksgiving arriving Tuesday 20th (I think) and it would be neat to hit some trails with some fellow X'ers in the area. EDIT - I will be in Townsend for the weekend, not just Thanksgiving. FSRBIKER 11-16-2001, 01:52 PM Then I assume you will be visiting me and the wife as well :smoka: Matt Peckham 11-16-2001, 03:21 PM Especially Friday and after... my mother in law is coming (not that I don't love her) but I will have free time to play that weekend as a result. There are some decent trails around me, and some other ones in NH, and one I was recently told about in Stow. swampwrecker 11-17-2001, 06:42 AM Originally posted by Craisy Daisy Further to this thread here (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/t11081.html), are there many trails in MA? I hear Old Florida Road is pretty good http://www.expoffroad.org/of11_01.html I have yet to find it, but I've heard it is challenging. Matt Peckham 11-20-2001, 09:39 AM I know where Florida Rd. is. it's out in western Mass... let me see if I can find some topo maps.... topozone map (http://www.topozone.com/map.asp?z=18&n=4722713&e=657982&s=50&size=m) it's just below the red bullseye, it starts at lower left and ends upper right. It's a helluva bitch of a trail, requiring winching if not lockers. Matt swampwrecker 11-20-2001, 09:42 AM I haven't searched that hard for it, but I couldn't find it on TopoZone.com (which usually has everything I'm looking for), mapquest, yahoo, etc. Automotive Network, Inc., Copyright ©2012
