Question Squeaking 2003 4Runner

I have had my 2003 4Runner for about a month now. It is an SR5 V8, and I have noticed 2 things. There is an annoying squeak coming from the rear passenger side seat, and when you press the brakes every few times there is a sort of quick giving in the pedal. Anyone have these problems?

there is a fix for the rear seat squeak, toyota knows and has fixed it. go to the dealer they should fix it for free. There is a quick giving???? There can be alittle noise/vibration on new factory brakes. All new owners who have had this say it goes away in about a month or less. Mine did the same

I have a 2003 SR5 Sport V8 as well and I have had the same squeaking problem. it is the latch that holds the seat in place when it is up. The dealership could not figure it out, they thought it was the seatbelt rubbing against the door but the problem was present even though the seatbelt was locked.

Turns out all he had to do is spray some White Lithium Grease on the latch and the squeaking stopped!
