The SiR/SiRII's were availible in an auto model, 148ps (about 150hp), you can also source an auto GSR tranny if you like. Your best bet for this is to check Ebay, or contact some of the online motor sellers.

i have that setup, i got it from www.hmotorsonline.com

from what i read the auto b16 is only 158HP compared to the manual 160 do to cam differences, but just swap the cams like i did and you'll be fine.

thanks, I have saved this thread for future use, I'm getting my engine swapped in sept. and wanted a B16 but didn't think i could have an auto one, I'm sure I'll be much happier with a a B16 than a D16z6. Thanks again!

The 92-98 Civic SiR and the 93 + delsols BOTH had auto options, and I was wrong about the hp, it is 155ps. And the teg RSi/XSi has 150ps.

Why do you want an auto on a high(er) performance engine?

I would switch it over to a manual but I have heard alot of bad things about doing that. I don't really give a damn if it's auto or manual, it will still be faster than what I got and fun. I have seen plenty of autos take manuals, and besides, I'm lazy:pimp: O.K.,so I can use an auto tranny off a del sol or something?

I'd rather have a slow five speed than a .1 sec faster auto because I like to drive the car, not have the car drive me.

Damn, if the guy wants an auto, let him have an auto.

yeah really, I have a crx with no engine and no front end, it's a manual, and its also a slow project. I can drive one but im just as happy with an auto. I press the gas and it goes. I agree that manuals are much more fun though
