Hello everyone.
Want to know how much a 4-5 year old R33 GT-R costs in Japan?
around $20-22,000.
Yep, it's sad..... I wish we could just buy it there and import it without any stupid problems.

Hi, Can you import a right drive car in the USA, over here
we can have left drive cars if they are over 20 years old
the newer ones have to be converted to right drive, saw
a right drive Viper, think how much that cost, a friend got
a late Mustang in and it cost him $25,000 to convert to
right hand drive.

Yea, you can import right hand drive cars, but it costs you some big $$ many times.

No offense, but why did your friend import a stang??
I mean you lucky New Zealanders can get any Japanese car imported for a pretty reasonable price :sun:

Hi, My friend got the stang just to sell it over here, US cars are worth big dollars. But the money he spent converting it and getting complyed to NZ standed and
the long time it took to sell he just got his money back not worth the bother, would you pay $60,000 for a Rusttang and I think it was 4 years old.

Racer 20 Hi, You can get a new Z28 here I think it's the
base model for 100k right hand drive what year did the
Z06 come out are they the top of the line model. The Z28 is near the same price of a new Mustang. The Chev Suburban is popular here can get them new and right hand drive I think they are just over 100k. Not very many late Vette,s here

Wow. I thought America was the only country screwed. The ZO6 is a special package, slitghly modified C5 (fifth gen) Corvette. It has an 8 cylinder LS6 engine and produces 385bhp and 385 lb.-ft. of torque. 0-60 in 4 seconds, 1.00g in the skidpad (100ft. I think). So as you can see it's a very high preformance pure sports car. Man, if a Z28 is $100k over there how much is an SS (super sport) Camaro??

AWDTURBO4 Hi, What part of the wiring are you after, have you got problems with it, lots of Jap cars in the wreckers yard here.

Racer 20 Hi, The US has got cheap cars If you do it wright you can buy a car from the US and bring it back here and sell it for more and pay for your trip aswell but the NZ dollar is worth not much eg. 1NZ=0.49US not worth buying anything from the US untill it comes up again.

but, on the flipside, its a great time to buy a part from nz, if your in the states..... and, thanks racer20, we are looking for a semi-complete wiring harness, we have all the other stuff, mas, igniter &chip, and all that stuff, just need the wiring to the injectors mainly, there is about 4 feet of wire missing from the motor we bought,
thanks......

The Nissan GTR34 is sold for 20k in USD... in Japan yes ,,, you know somewhere else that sells it for that price United Arab Emirates for 20,000 US Dollars you can buy the car brand new. Why its expensive in the US well thats up to u to decide one other things Certain Saftey and immision controls in the US could make the car cost you much more.

About left hand drive I have only seen the GTR33 made to left hand drive by using the Nissan Blue Bird Dashbaord, the GTR34 is harder to convert because of the LCD on the Dash.... Still thinking of making my own Dash board,, get someone to design the same one but the other way around thanks all.
