Well if I was rich enough to afford one of them, I'm sure I could afford all of them. But if I had to choose one it would be the Enzo. Terrific performance, built to be a street car as well as track car, and its just amazing to look at. I would, however, never wast $300,000 on the S7, just look at the engine bay compared to other exotics. Wires sticking out everywhere, its a total mess, I'd expect more neatness for that kind of money. Not to mention it can't be that great of an exotic since its american made.

what about if you wanted a racer ? I'd probably take the Koenigsegg its freaking light and incredibly fast.

The Enzo maybe the best Ferrari ever and fastest...but it looks UGLY...I dont care if it's functional and has all the downforce in the world...ugly is still ugly...to me

I'll take the Lambo

What would I have? Lost of drool of course.

Those cars are out of my purchasing league right now. When I get there, I'd prefer the Vanquish over all of those anyway.

Vanquish Curb Weight 4046 lbs...
VR4 Curb Weight 3815 lbs...

But honestly...it's got lots of style...just not as fast as the others...more of a pimp cruiser w/some power...kinda like a SL55

Weight mean little when the goal is to cruise in comfort and still have the punch to outrun 95% of the cars on the road  Not to mention you got one of the VR4 weights right, the Spyder is about the same weight as the Vanquish.

Well it's not a quarter mile race, road race or whatever...it's which would you rather have...

It's rather open...and I dont think just b/c the Enzo is the best Ferrari ever...does NOT means it's automatically the winner

If I was going to cruise- Murcielago
If I was going to race- Koenigsegg
If I was going to get what I really wanted- Enzo

I have no feelings about the S7- looks nice- but I'm indifferent to it

Your stat is wrong for the Ferrari Enzo's 0-60 times. That time you have is actually for the 0-62 street start. 0-60 times is actually 3.3 seconds Flat. Its currently the Fastest production car built. Faster than even the McLaren

And if I say 0-60 in 2.8s with road legal tires do I get your attention?
Yeah 2.8s to get to 60mph and not with one of the supercar quoted before. Just a little road lagal kit car made in the UK caller the Tiger Z100WP. A twin bike engined car (Kawasaky ZX12) which make an out of this world noise as both Kawa are nearly in tune. For the 10th of an Enzo, it may be not got for cruising but it's a hell of a toy!! (www.zcars.org.uk/z100wr.htm)

By the may I'm looking for the video of when they beat the record. I think it was on the BBC To Gear so if anyone ever head of that, please just let me know as I'm looking for it for a while now being one of my favorite motoring moment.

I dont think it was on "Top Gear" but "Fifth Gear", which is the rival programme on the UK's Channel 5. Hunt around on the net, there's a handful of sites with Top Gear clips so i would be surprised if some of these had the Tiger Z100 clip. Happy hunting

No it was or "top gear" or "driven" at the time I was living in the UK.
Anyway coming back to the original subjet why neither the Edonis nor the Zonta appear in this selection of supercar. I would then definitely choose the Edonis with 368km/h recorded at Nardo. Otherwise if it's between the one proposed and if we talk about confort it would be the Murcielago.

It definitely wasnt Driven because it was Tiff driving. He's now part of Fifth Gear so im wondering it was before or after the ex-TG team's move to Channel 5.

Two things.. First.. 3.3 for 0-60? 660k? I'd rather buy a 500k HOUSE and a Corvette that would EAT that and any of those other cars alive. First.. Buy the Vette... Second.. Send it to Lingenfelter, asking for the 427TT Package.
Which is quicker.... 3.3 Enzo? 2.8 "Tiger"?
Or a 1.97 0-60 BEAST Lingenfelter Corvette, seen in Motor Trend.. on Motor Trend TV Racing a Blue Angel. Theres also been reports of a quicker run than the one below.. including a 1/4 mile UNDER 9's. Nice when you mix displacement with turbo? Now I know this isnt an 'exotic' and all, but it would have my money much quicker than any Ferrari.

HP: 802 @ 4600
Lbs./FT: 866 @ 3600
0-60: 1.97 sec
0-100: 4.33 sec
1/4 Mile: 9.24 sec @ 150.27 mph
Top Speed: 240 mph (est)
Lat Accel: 1.01g

Another car that you could have mentioned was the Mosler MT900S. A Car weighing in around 1900-1925 lbs or so... 435HP with a Vette powered but mid-engined.. 3.5 0-60 times.. running at about 12's 1/4 mile and having a pricetag of around 200k. A beautiful car, underrated when compared to those others. Just something to look into.

ok i'll post this again and again and again...you want to drag race....don't buy an enzo.....

you want to drag race....get a 528 hemi and a light chassis put FI and the lingenfelter vette will be a very small thing in your mirror

no..just saying that everyone thinks the enzo is hotter then it really is.
I'd rather buy a real horse, they last longer.

crayzayjay

OK, so in which area could the Enzo be "hotter", in your opinion?

oh, and "real horses" dont go 200mph :D

quarter_mile
09-29-2003, 09:03 AM
I don't think the enzo could be hotter. i ain't saying it's a bad car, I'm just saying...lambo is betta.

a horse can go 200mph all you need is a real good whip..

crayzayjay
09-29-2003, 09:09 AM
Well, how is the Lambo “betta”? The Enzo spanks it performance-wise. So what's your reasoning, im assuming you have more than just badge preference in mind...

quarter_mile
09-29-2003, 09:16 AM
yez da lambo is totalli betta. you don't need to stress my misspellings because I think it's obvious I did it on purpose. anywayzzzz,
I think the lamborghini is betta because I've liked lamborghini since I was 10 because they were the first sports car I ever heard of. It is such a cool car. anyway, lambo and ferrari being natural enemies I've decided to eb enmys with them and I think ferrari owners are too up themselves because they can afford a $400 billion piece of metal junk.

crayzayjay
09-29-2003, 09:22 AM
Yes, im well aware your mis-spelling is on purpose. It gives you an aura of intelligence, might i add. So it was not in the least surprising to see that your argument of the Enzo being overrated is entirely unsubstantiated.

PS - Im sure that Lambo owners aren’t up their ass one bit.

This proves that you are a moron... You say the Lamborghini is better because you heard of it before you heard of a Ferrari? Secondly, Ferraris aren't $400 billion. Last - I'd like to see what you drive if you have the balls to call a Ferrari "metal junk."

quarter_mile
09-30-2003, 05:31 AM
yes, i do like the lambo cuz i herd of it b4 ferrari. got a problem?
ofcourse ferrari aren't 400 billion dollars, is called exaggeration.
I wasn't saying the ferrari is that bad a car.I said that they are overrated because whenever someone thinks sports car, they think ferrari when there are lots of better cars such as vipers and corvettes. When I said it i didn't mean to start a freakin' civil war about it.

overrated
definition- To overestimate the merits of; rate too highly.

I dunno what you guys thought it mean't.

crayzayjay
09-30-2003, 06:01 AM
No civil war here. I made my point by showing that your “overrated” comment – oh, and thanks for the definition I previously had no idea what the word “mean’t” – was completely unsubstantiated. Im more than happy to leave it there.

quarter_mile
09-30-2003, 06:04 AM
yeah i typed in 'mean't' not mean'ts and was perfect grammar.
I left it there a while ago, you guys were just acting like smartasses.

crayzayjay
09-30-2003, 06:12 AM
the "s" at the end was a typo, but i ought to tell you that there's no apostrophe in the word "meant", that's what i was trying to point out.
And no one was being a smartass, you were simply asked to make a little sense instead of making stupid posts. The fact that you failed abysmally time after time is somewhat worrying.
