Compression is higher on an N/A engine, everything might bolt up but you will blow it up.
You also need EVERYTHING from a turbo 2.2L, like ECU, Intake manifold, TB, fuel rail, injectors, MAP sensor, TPS sensor, knock sensor, Exhaust manifold, air box or fabricate one, and the turbo lines oil and water, O2 sensors, probably some other things that are needed too that I just can't think of right now. I do know the turbo blocks are different, but I'm not sure in what way they are different. You may have to drill a hole in the oil pan and make a custom drain tube for the turbo.
IMO you need a turbo engine to start with, even if it's just a T1, a T1 isn't as strong as a T2 but it gives you a good foundation and they are relatively inexpensive. T2's on the other hand are expensive. Find a good complete donar car to strip things off of. You can't just slap a turbo on a vehicle and expect things to work.
