Exclamation Rotary engine powered bug

I was at ebay moters looking at vw's and there was one there with an rx-7 moter in it. The thought of that is insane. The dude is selling it for $510.00 the moter alone is worth more.

Must be a handfull to drive - must also catch a fair amount of people by surprise. It is sad however, that VW bought out NSU the pioneering company for wankel engines, and never applied the rotary technology to their own cars.

well ive heard of mating a porsche tranie with a rx-7 moter, but other than that I can't help you. I just saw the pic and info and posted about it here

Kennedy Engineered Products makes adapter plates for most engines, including rotary engines.
