I am considering making one of my powerpoints committed (on all the time) so I can charge a phone when the X is parked. But I noticed in the manual that I should not leave anything plugged in to the rear powerpoint, "it will discharge the vehicle's battery". Mine turns off when the key turns off. Is this an odd unedited statement missed by the tech writers or is my X the odd one?
