To my understanding, We as n drifters don't want drifting to get as bad as street racing in the sense on all the BS thats goes with it, Right. For all I care if your going to use a fwd car then do so. If the Fwd drifters can prove there skills as drifters then good. If they can't prove there skills or keep up with the Rwd and Awd then too stinken bad cuz thats there problem. Flaring between drifters is bad. Drifting is having a good time, not power trippen. :bigthumb: ok Im done.

doesn't the majority of AWD preform grip driving?? or unless they have the dial where u can swith the power ratio b/t the front and rear wheels i guess

you can drift awd cars, not quite like a RWD, not as gay as a FWD...

yeah VCDs(i thinks thats what there called) help..since u can set it at like a 10/90 or 15/85 power ratio

I have no problem - as far as I'm concered you can drift just about anything with wheels on it (of course in the most literal sense of the word - this is obviously limited to paddle-steamers.)
Just refrain from acting like a nerd and making comments like "AWD cant drift" or "RWD is gay" or "FWD drifting is lame" and everything will be fine.

well i'm only 23 and since she makes almost twice as much as me....and will be helping me get this car....then she has some say in it....

but one thing that annoyed me was i couldn't hear the engine...it was so annoying b/c i usually listen to the engine to know when to shift...but oh well

u mean cats....the I6 has 2 separate headers with each one having a cat....itz kinda odd....friend who's a mechanic says it might have 4:confused: ....so straigt fron the engine 2 separate pipes coming into one exhaust.....

AWD can drift with 50/50 split. They just need alot of power to get all four wheels spinnning. It's be done. Jun EVO 5.

Race it with mods that don't void the warranty.... hmm.. like.. A decal.. on the windshield...

You could ask the dealer about:

Cat-back exhaust
Performance chip
Intake

I don't think these void warranty, but don't quote me on that.

you could always modify it with things to make it more efficient. like exhaust, intake, lightweight pulleys, electrical rad. fan(s), spark plugs and wires, etc. she can't rightly complain about things like that since it'll get better gas mileage, right?

i doubt she would care if i did that.....

Lexus does the sportline "preformance" stuff that doesnt void warranty wont get much power but it will sound better.

That's right. Lexus and TRD are taking the BMW Mpower/Mercedes-Benz AMG approach with factory parts. She can't argue with parts that are covered by factory warrantee, now can she.

um........how about starting to do mods with the internals! HOpefully she does not kno a thing about cars and u can say they are all stock! Mite work! If not, i think you should make her decide on which car should not be modded!
