240 vs supra

Hey i know these can be objectionable and overanalyzed but just out of curiousity which do u think would win in a 1/4 mile? (considerin both manual, drivers are equal) If you dont kno or dont care, feel free to flame.

92 240sx w/ modded s13redtopsr20 +t78 (410hp)

or

MKIV TT Supra with BPU (460)

good question...Supra's are known to be better in a straight line, whereas 240's shine in the twisties...so even though the 240 is lighter...i think the Supra might have it. take it to the road course though, and i think the 240 might win...not sure.

this IS a thread for the car comparisons forum...but since you want the opinion of people in here, i'll leave it...

first of all, a plain ol redtop and a new snail isnt gonna give you 400+ hp.

second , what kind of BPU are on the supra and what kind is it (mkiii, mkiv twin turbo...etc)

third, get outta here with that question thats dumb

can you settle down a little bit? you've been really hostile with your posts lately. it's a legit question, and he can ask it if he damn well pleases.

although you're right about the HP numbers. i must have missed that. a red-top with a T78 most likely won't break 400...

this should really be in car races or some other forum topic... and there's no way you can get a 240 to 400hp that easily. now a 240 with a modded rb engine, that will win.

If it was a 240SX w/a KA-T w/around 415rwhp...I'd give it to the 240SX...since my buddy's ex KA-T was the bomb and was killing Vipers left and right...

Damn! IT would be nice to see the 240 beat the supra in a straight line! That would be one of those times that u can recall in 50 yrs because it seems so rare! But if u take it to the mountains thats a different storY! Damn supras! I wonder if the flamers at SRO will clown on supras! Damn that bug me!

Do you mean Jay's old 240? I see that you are from FL, maybe it's Orlando.

Anyway, why not drop in an RB25DETT to even up the comparison.
