Cuz now you have a D series and you need swap mounts to put a B in. Anyway, yes you can put a VTEC head on from a D16Y8, or a D16Z6. But it won't give you NEAR as much power as the B16. No the header won't work. 90siguy 06-08-2003, 06:21 PM yeah the motor mounts are the b16 mounts so i guess i'll just put the b16a but is that a direct bolt up it has the wireharness ecu but do i need to do any custem wireing b/c i have thought about just puting in a turbo b/c the old motor has a lot of work in to it thinx PWMAN 06-08-2003, 06:52 PM Well, I was reading something about converting a 92-95 Civic Greddy Turbo kit for an 88-91, but it requires a lot of mods and you also cannot retain your AC if I remember correctly. Plus you can only boost that engine like 6 PSI so it wouldn't be worth it. Go with the B16:smile: Automotive Network, Inc., Copyright ©2012
