1999 GMC Sierra DRL

Having problems finding out why our Day Time Running Lamps are not working after plugged into a miswired trailer. Now there is no voltage from the truck at the receptical pin for trailer running lights. Checked all of the fuses and relays that pertains to this issue!

Anyone have any idea's on what to check next? This is on my father inlaws truck and of course its his baby!

Thanks!

Jerry

This my be basic but did you check to see if both bulbs were burnt out? If so they now make a long lasting bulb. Its the same number but has LL after it.

A good quick check is to go ahead and unhook the battery. If you remove the power and negative it will reset the whole system in the truck. This should work but theres a possibility its alot worse than this fix.
