reseting the "service required" indicator92teggsr 06-02-2003, 04:37 PM I'm trying to change the oil on my Girlfriends parents 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.7l becuase the "service required" indicator came on and it just means it need the oil change but how do I reset it ? Is there a button under the dash or do I have to pull a fuse or what ? If anyone has any clue please let me know. I have a JGCL 1998 4.0 liter which has counted down to oooo kilometers and now wants service. O have always serviced my vehicles myself and I am not up to giving away 500USD at the dealership to have the damn servicelight turned off runaround I really hope you can help.
