I gotta question for all you mustang fellasSwonder67 11-08-2001, 10:47 PM My friend has one of the box type stangs, "84 I think. Anyway, I asked him what engine he had in there, the 8, or the 6. And he says 4 banger. 4 cylinder?!?!!? is this true? Jay! 11-08-2001, 10:49 PM You know, I was talking to someone in Las Vegas about that and he was sure that even now they offer Mustangs with I4s. I wrote him off, but... Swonder67 11-08-2001, 10:51 PM I know they don't have 4 bangers now, but this kid popped the hood on his stang, and there was this big engine bay, and an engine about the size of my civic's engine. Jay! 11-08-2001, 10:54 PM dubolox 11-09-2001, 12:10 AM yea i know a guy that had an old school 'stang with a four banger (mid 80's maybe... power roach). Lizard King 11-11-2001, 05:12 PM Yes, they did have I4 Mustangs. The SVO turbo cars were quite quick for the time, as quick as the V8 models I think. Tony 96 Cobra 11-27-2001, 02:31 PM Yes, the inline 4 was available through 93.. when they changed to the heavier body style of the SN95, they dropped the 4 for a 3.8 V6. There are some guys out there modding the 4's and running fairly quick.. I don't get it.. but it is their car. MOJO 11-30-2001, 02:47 AM Yes, the engine is a 2.3L Inline 4 cylinder. Last year for it in the Mustang was 93 Ktulu 11-30-2001, 04:24 PM From my experience they aren't very fast. But what is cool about them though is that you can pick them up for dirt cheap and drop a really nice windsor into it for a fairly inexpensive project.:bandit: HiFlow5 0 12-13-2001, 05:40 PM Originally posted by Ktulu From my experience they aren't very fast.
