You have to check and see if you have spark at the spark plug. Also look at the injector to see if there is fuel spray. This way we will be able to isolate the problem as to whether its fuel or spark. Let us know and we'll go from there.

Check ecm fuse A and B. they should not be open. Make sure the injector wires are not rubbing against the air filter spacer. it will blow your ecm fuse B. If you can get the injector to work without the igniton on, you have an electrical problem.Check the fuses. Also behind the battery, against the firewall, all the wires going to the fuses go thru a block. remove the block using a 5/16th socket. Pull it out and check the ternminals. Most times you will find corrosion or broken wire. Reseal it well when you put it back, cause water gets into it.Good Luck.

Don't condemn the computor yet. You need to go thru a diagnostic tree to identify your problem. Go to a library and photocopy the diagnostic procedures for your vehicle and give it a shot. One more thing, do you hear the fuel pump activating for the first 2 sec. when ignition is turned on? If you do not hear the pump come on, check for power at the fuel pump when cranking. You might have a bad fuel pump/relay.
I usually use a scanner to check the ecm or the diagnostics will lead you to a bad ecm.
