Mercades6.2 or 6.3

Does anybody kmow if Mercades ever made a 6.3 or 6.2 in the mid to late 1970's. A friend of mine has a brand new 6.2 or6.3 sitting in her garage. And a lot of extra parts for these motors, brand new. Her husband worked for Mercades in the 70's and acquired alot of new parts.

Mercedes-Benz did in fact have a 6.3 model. It was later replaced by the 6.9.

thats right, the 6.9 liter motor was in the old 560sel, a real nice machine, or neighbour has this car in gold, but it looks a little bit like a bitchcar

The 6.9 was actually in the 450SEL (W116) and not in the 560SEL's body (W126).
