Question help me

I have a 2.2L turbo in my probe.
I need to know where i can get a good barring because mine is loose.

Does anybody have a whole turbo they want to sell?

Or know where i can get the barring made?

i already called the ford parts dept. but they discontinued that motor and don't make anymore parts for it.

Look on www.probetalk.com/forums under the Forsale forum. There are people selling stuff on there all the time and I'm sure you'll be able to find something. That or you could post a wanted topic.
Hope this helps. Good Luck.

what is a barring?

If you mean a bearing, you should be able to get one from a bearing supplier.
You will need the outside dia, the inside dia and the thickness and they should be able to help you. It would also help if you could take the old one along with you so they can see what type of bearing it is(needle roller/deep groove/ thrust).
Pulling the bearing and replacing it should not be a big deal.

BTW, if it is loose, there may be a simple fix like a shim or tightening a collar or something. Make sure you know what is wrong before you start buying new parts.
