What are common tranny problems for the 1.8 automatic? I got a 94 mirage with only 64k for 500 bucks, but tranny doesnt work. Talked to the mechanic that looked at it before i got it. He said he took the pan off, fluid was fine, nothing laying around that was broke or not supposed to be there, changed filter then put new fluid in. Still didnt go anywhere. Lady didnt want to spend anymore money on it then that.
Is there anything that commonly goes bad on these trannys? Like selonoid or linkage? Any TSBs would be great too.
