I am having some serious exhaust problems with my 1985 318i. The catalytic converter is leaking but I can not see from where the exhaust is being pumped through the heat sheilding an dinto the engine compartment. I can't get the heat sheil off without a hacksaw or cutting torch so I am stuck for I don't know where the leak is and therefore can't fix it. Any Ideals?
