hey i just got my licence and my mom gave me a 1985 mazda 626. the motor is good but its too slow i lost a race to a geo. how can i fix that

Maybe a turbo engine swap (FE3 or somethin like that) from an Mx6 GT?? they put out like 145 hp and like 190 somethin ft lbs of torque.
