Unfortunately, there isn't a single other car with a transmission like that of the 1980-1987 Tercel's. But, because the engine is mounted longitudinally, like in a RWD car, I've wondered if other engines from Toyota's RWD models could be squeezed into the engine bay. They'd have to be pretty short, the length of the Tercel engine is 21 inches and I'm not too familiar with Toyota's (other than the first generation Tercel) so I don't know what would fit.
