Question Curbed chromes...HELP

So, I lend my pops my car for the day and he comes back with the wheels looking like they were put in a cement mixer full of rocks. They are pretty curbed. It complicates things that they are complicated wheels with a chrome plating. Has anyone had chrome wheels repaired before? If so how much did it cost? How much does it cost to get things machined and dipped? The thing is, these wheels are discontinued so I CAN'T get another one to replace it, plus they cost 750 each without rubber so I am hesitant to just toss em. Anyone know how much this stuff costs?

A couple hundred a rim would be the going rate.
