Question 2002 Cavalier Problem

My 2002 Cavalier recently exhibited problems as if the motor had died. The power steering and brakes were useless, but the engine was running. Sound familiar?

Milage was less than 500. Hasn't done it since. Only the one time. Weird.

Humm.. thats different..

well it could of done that if it was running REALLY low.. close to stalling.. Or if you have a bad vacume.. your brakes could be affected. But I don't understand the Steering.. Thats not good.. what ever it was..
