AF Model Teen Comp Rules

I guess you have taken over the comp now??


1. 13-18 yrs of age for entry. Word will be taken.
2. Can enter only one model....pre-built or Current build.
3. 2 pics of car....1 overview and 1 collage containing many pics of anything about the car.
4. Pic Deadline is June 7th at 11:59 est.

There will be 2 categories of Cars to enter.

1. Street/Tuners
2. Race- THIS IS FOR KITS ISSUED AS RACE CARS AND ARE BUILT AS RACE CARS. A decaless Rally car does not belong in this category.

All models are to be 1:24/1:25 scale. Voting will be kept anonymous to insure that there is no favortisim. Votes will be PM'd to PMan to keep a final count. The thread w/the Models will be a sticky.
Voters must be registered at least a week prior to voting to insure nobody is making bogus accounts to vote for themselves.

Submiting a model.
Submiting a car will be done by PM'ing me w/the 2 Pics of the model. Be sure to include what category you are entering and a brief description of the car including any build mods and notes.

Not really as long as it can be uploaded into the AF database.

has Integra14 seen and approved of this? didn't we JUST have an argument that he was running things and you were to stop? unless he gave you permission, in that case, carry on...

YES...we handled OUR problems in private.

I cant upload pics into the Af database. How would I enter my pic??

send them to me and i will host them

Question, if you dont have access or the knowledge to make a collage in photshop can you just add another normal pic of the car in?

paint will work too, just resize the pictures in a program like powerpoint then copy-paste them into paint...

Was'nt the due date changed to July 7th? Unless I missed something :confused:

Same here, I thought the deadline was extended? If it is in June.. I doubt I can make it..

good question, ive gone head over heels to get this one car done in tiem, and if that means i did it for nothing then im pissed, cuz it will or would have won too!. yeah. well fuck that now.

Lets get this darn thing back on track and sort it out as there must be a few of you who have made the effort to build for this contest

Well...i dont know the responsibilities for running it, but i think it should be the same rules..and pos same date. As for voting, send PM's with your vote?...and i know there was a list of prizes somewhere around this board. Just a few suggestions

but i think most of the prizes were be given to us by K dog him self.
Im still willing to put the winner up on my site as feature of the month.

Out of fairness, wouldn't it be better to give the competition back to the original 'owner' of the idea, or at least give him the first option to run it?

i dont want any thing to do with this contest, except that the winner is FOTM on my site.

so Pman, i learned with my own contest that its more work than it looks.
and yes ray, it was Integra14 that had the priginal idea of the contest

You forgot the Civic hatch kit from Anotonio (Tonioseven) and the Civic widebody transkit from me for the first prize winner;)

One more question:

We can submit 2 pics...1 collage and one car pic correct? Well what are the dimension limits to the pictures. Is any dimnsion ok as long as its under 100Kb?

yup, any size under 100k, but not oversized, u know.. when u have to scroll left to right, to see the entire pic
