When I saw the video of the Fast and te Furious (FatF) I decided to make my own FatF model. I just had the right model for it, Tamiya's Toyota Celica.
So I took the kit and take a look at my paint collection, but there was nu suitable colour for the model, but when I checked my nail polish collection I found the right colour. Neon light green with gold metallic.
At that time I was modelling Tamiya's DTM Mercedes with the Studio27 etch set. I noticed that the DTM rims were perfect for this FatF model. So I decided to use them. After I decided to use those rims I found out that were more Mercedes parts I could use. I used the brakedisks with the Studio27 parts, the racing seat, the steering wheel and the etch seat belts. I changed the exhaust system (two pipes) and I added a Fujimi rear wing to the model.
Now I have a incomplete Mercedes and Studio27 kit. But that doesn't matter because I know there is no second model of the FatF car.
