Well, the body really doesn't matter, as long as it fits.

hey, my R/C viper will beat ur R/C vette anytime. Its been up to 60 mph, beat my dad's minivan 0-60. And that was with a speed gem 2,which are slow to begin with, that seriously needed a rebuild. The motor was pulling a whole 20,500 rpm. Just think what i could do with a 5 turn drag motor.

Thumbs up

HPI bodies are often not to scale. Sometimes they are stretched to fit the chassis. Tamiya bodies are to scale, they modify the chassi just so the body is the right size.

I agree with MBTN. Parma also makes really good looking bodies. My viper body and chasis from Parma has a hood that flips up just like the real car does and has an engine and the rest that is found under the hood of a real viper.

HPI is the bomb when it come to RC-ing, I've got a Super Nitro RS4 with a Nissan Skyline body and a BMW V12 Lemans body, both fit perfect. you just have to know which bodies fit your car. You wouldn't want to try to put a 200mm body a on a super size car because they aren't made to fit those, my car only fits 280mm and 300mm body and they look tight. their are easy to paint and decals are easy enough, I mean it will take some care in putting them on but that goes for any RC car kits. Then once you buy more hope up parts and faster engines then it's on!!!!!! Halla if ya hear me!!!!

HPI is good, but i wouldnt say they are the bomb. Im not sure who my favotie is, but i really like Parma, but their cars are really hard to find. Parts are not all that easy to get but thats cause the shipping company that my hobby shop uses is not all that great. but oh well.:what:

another HPI SuperNitro kit and so far i only have a porsche 911 turbo, a lambo, a CR5, and finally a Viper body, or should i say bodies.

that thing is fast, very fast, and if you hook some parts it will go even faster.......

so far i never had a problem w. all the bodies and putting it in the kit, it fits perfect everytime unless you hit a wall then you could have some problems.......

but i really like it

super RS4 nitro is kinda slow to me if its stock, but yeah if you put something as simple as a new pipe in and a two speed transmission, it would totally change your car. if you want super scale lookin bodies, i would go for Tamiya but they come at a price of around 50 dollars for a body and they are just too damn beautiful to trash~
