1970 AMX and Javelin differences please?
Hi,
Can somebody explain me what EXTERIOR differences are between the 1970 AMX and Javelin ? I've been searching through internet (AMX Experience and Wikipedia) and from the pictures I'm not sure. Is one a 2 seater and the other not? Bumpers, grilles, lights, air scoop? Can't really get the differences sorted out. If somebody could post up front and rear pictures of both models and enlighten me I would be very thankful. Thank you Regards

Re: 1970 AMX and Javelin differences please?
They are pretty much the same, except the AMX has a shorter wheelbase..... short enough that the backseat was eliminated entirely.
There is just a small carpeted cargo area where the backseat would normally be. But otherwise, the drivelines, suspensions, brakes, basic structure and many body panels were pretty much the same. |
