96 Safari Serp belt question

Here's a simple one for you fellas. Can I use a non AC belt to bypass my noisy AC pulley?

Re: 96 Safari Serp belt question

No, There is an air compressor bypass bracket available that must be installed after removing the ac compressor. Then you can use the original serpentine belt. Most auto parts stores carry, or can order, Dorman part # 34174 http://www.autozone.com/autozone/cat...Name=Motormite
