You stalking me, Jerry? j/k...
Nice to see you on this board; I check here every once in a while 'cuz it's not as busy as some of the other boards...

P.S.: It woulda been hella funny if it turned out that your guess about recognizing the poster was wrong...

Tonytone, who are you? Heh - just joking! I noticed you and Trent as well. I just discovered this one after a google search. We like it for the same reasons...plus it's kind of nice to have very specific content. I'm just upset that 'Toneman' and 'VroomVroom' were already taken. What's up with that?
Take care,
Jerry

Re: Electrical problem, 2003 Denali
sorry for digging this up but did anything come of this whole flickering problem? i just purchased an 02 denali and it flickers all the time, even sitting still and even during the day (the little dash lights showing the park, drive, nuetral, reverse, etc). it is quite annoying, i still have the factory warranty and would enjoy taking advantage of it already if anything can be done.

Re: Electrical problem, 2003 Denali
I've tried flipping the switch too. The problem was apparently resolved on '04's because my wife's truck does not have the problem. It's things like this that annoy me - they should offer the fix through a revision to the TSB.
I'm guessing the problem above is significantly different. An alternator, maybe? In any case it's worth a visit to the dealer for repair.
Take care,
Jerry

I recently purchased a 2001 Denali XL that had the same light flickering problem. I took it back to the dealer and they cleaned the throttle body and reset the computer and the problem went away. Go figure.

Re: Electrical problem, 2003 Denali
I read something about a problem with some GM vehicles which causes the alternator to go to low output when car hits bumps then comes back. makes the lights flicker. Try googleing it.

Re: Electrical problem, 2003 Denali
My 03 Yukon headlamps flicker the same way, disable of the traction control system (StabilTrak) seems to stop the flicker when cornering. Is there a solution to this annoying problem?
