Spotlight Hole Repair Help (retired cop car)
Guys, I bought a retired police impalaback in december. The interior was in great condition, and so was the outside of the car. When I originally got it, it had a police spot light. I used it during winter when there was snow, but in reality I didnt like the spot light. It was to bulky.
My dad took it off. There one big hole left wich was were the spotlight was at . My dad covered all the holes temperoly with this plastic material to keep all the water out. Any suggestions on what I should use or buy to cover the holes? Their not that bad, but I find it anoyin! Spotlight Holes ^^Far away. |

Re: Spotlight Hole Repair Help (retired cop car)
Josh , you definitely need to close those holes up somehow ? If not , you're going to have a small lake in your foot well . My suggestion would be to take it to a body shop (or if you have a friend that welds ) and have the holes welded up properly . Then you could do the touch up ( paint-wise ) yourself . It might not look perfect but I think it would serve your purpose . Of course , you could put the spotlight back in place . Good luck and keep us updated !
