intake for 3.1l

i have a 93 corsica with the 3.1 and i was wonderingif i buy a short ram intake what do i do with the things that plug into the intake hose? there is a tube that goes from the intake hose to the head and two wires that are on a plug and its on the side of the intake hose.

Re: intake for 3.1l

You have to install them some how into your new intake, period. One is a sensor that will drive you crazy if you don't, the other is vacuum I think. Anyway this kit you get should either have those openings or, allow you to use the rubber part of your old intake to go on the new one. My 93 Blazer was that way...just re used the old rubber section with those openings.
