Being from England, all our Probes over here have 5 speed manual boxes fitted, but no overdrive.

I've heard that they can be exchanged, yes, but from your perspective, it would probably have to be imported.

I've always wanted an automatic Probe for the missus, but I've only ever seen one in this country.

I could buy an auto Mazda MX-6 and try doing the swap, but that may be harder to do, with respect to the interior, pedals, gear selector, etc
