Probe GT has no spark

I have a 1995 probe GT 6 cyl and for some reason it just stalled out and wont start. As far as I can see it has no spark and was wondering what it could be. I cleaned the cap and rotor with some fine sandpaper so far. Any ideas? Thanks Joe

Use an analog OHM meter and disconnect the wire from the distributor. Have somebody else crank the car for you the needle should sweep if the meter is connected to the two wires from the pickup.

Re: Probe GT has no spark

Or if you don't wanna do all that, try replacing the distributor, cap an rotor, and the solenoid/Ignition Module

replace your wires too if you haven't already.

if you replace your distributor, be prepared to get your timing adjusted.
