exactly. Hyundai is proof that people dont care about the badge anymore and they recognise that a good car is a good car. Which is why i have faith in GM. The quality of the vehicles they've put out in the last year can go toe to toe with prettymuch anything. It may take people a year to catch on, like it did with hyundai, but i do think that the WILL catch on.

Re: 3000gt's/Stealth very own off topic thread: Part Quatre
i don't think the genesis is turbo'd, just a nice potent v6, they also have a 375hp v8. i also like their new "advantage" campaign that if you loose your job you can return the car, no questions asked.
as far as gm, i love the sky redline, 260hp, but the dealer has a gm only available product that ups the power and tq to 290hp and 340tq...from a 2.0l 4cyl. i think it's a new intake/exhaust system, as well as an up in boost, maybe some other lil things. i'm not really liking the new solstice hardtop, for it's price i'd rather a new 370z

You'd be wrong. They have a turbo 4 cylinder, base V6 and a V8 as platforms.

Re: 3000gt's/Stealth very own off topic thread: Part Quatre
me and the wifey just went and test drove a Ralliart lancer tonight. That's a lot of car for the price...I love that TC-SST trans! gear changes are so quick, and in sport mode ir revs right up to redline. Can't wait to up the boost a bit though...i definitely got the impression that theres loads more power to set free.

The Genesis has the 4B11T in it as well. They said it could withstand 29psi stock (with supporting fuel mods, etc of course)

Re: 3000gt's/Stealth very own off topic thread: Part Quatre
huh, well learned something new today. i'm still waiting for someone to use the genisis drive line in a tiburon, though really that'd be a waste of money i think.
as for the ralliart, saw one in the mall on display a couple of weeks ago, very nice looking car, i also like the new impreza turbo with 265hp(though really that's the only reason)

Re: 3000gt's/Stealth very own off topic thread: Part Quatre
Considering the Genesis is RWD it would take a ton of modification to get it in a Tiburon. Than and the Genesis is bigger.

Re: 3000gt's/Stealth very own off topic thread: Part Quatre
pretty crazy. But that's a lot of work for 10s. Needs bigger turbos lol
reminds me of the dual engined CRX...stock motor driving the front wheels, small block for the rear.

I like how they say Hyuandai 2.0's. They are Mitsubishi 4G63's.
There is a twin Engine Eclipse too. The guy who built it is on 3si.

Re: 3000gt's/Stealth very own off topic thread: Part Quatre
Is it just me that runs across these people this often or does anybody else? I had to put up with some guy who apparently hates all imports with a serious passion. I was playing COD4 and he sends me a couple message telling me how lucky I was when I killed him. After the match, he then sends me a message saying, "fucking 4-bangers." (My screename on PS3 is SL3000gt with the clan tag of VR4) I send him a message, "????." He then proceeds to tell me how his 2006 R/T Charger would waste my BPU VR4 and how it is, "cheap jap shit." I then reminded him that my car new was more than his over 10 years ago and that his 4-door saloon was merely a 14 second car (and yes his was stock). He then told me I had to put on two turbos in order to keep up with his car. I replied, "nope, they actually came on the car stock...funny how you need almost twice the displacement to lose though ." He then calls BS that I have a VR4 in which I sent him a couple pics and told him he needs to chill out otherwise he won't live long (this guy was freaking out bad! lol)...never sent me another message.

Re: 3000gt's/Stealth very own off topic thread: Part Quatre
^ it's not really COD5, a different company made it. the producing company doesn't even acknowledge it as COD5. i heard it wasn't that great compared to 4

Re: 3000gt's/Stealth very own off topic thread: Part Quatre
Nah Morph, I really can't stand COD WaW. I still have it but can't stand more than 2 consecutive games of its terribleness. COD4 is still fun if I switch it up but after getting my gold guns and playing for so long on there, it too can start to get a bit old at times.

Re: 3000gt's/Stealth very own off topic thread: Part Quatre
So we ended up buying the ralliart last night... it rocks. Would like to take it the track eventually and see how it measures up against the 3000.
