how about a spyder w/'99 front end conv.?
actually, the more i see it the more I like the 97/98 front bumpers...almost as much if not more than the 99s.

Re: 3000gt's/Stealth very own off topic thread: Part Quatre
anyone have experience with stocks? I'm looking to buy some stock in GM...their shares are down to like $1.40. No place to go but up...or bankrupt lol.
So anyways i'm a stock noob. I was looking at a few online trade sites, but they're talking about minimum trades/month, minimum assets, etc. I just want to but a few hundred shared and be done with it. Is it not possible to invest directly, without having to pay commissions and fees and whatnot?

Nah, I don't know enough to be giving advice in this kind of economic situation.
On another note, does anyone other than Stealthee get on AIM in here? I am pretty sure I have a screename on AIM that is like Blink182 but I never see him (Autostrada now) or anyone else get on...just wondering.

I get confused on AIM more often than not. I tend to not be able to remember which AIM name corresponds with who's board name. Between here and 3si its gets very confusing. :lol3:

I would read Investors Business Daily newspaper regularly.
They teach you how to find good stocks & how to read charts.
I have been trading with "paper money" (which isn't real money) for almost two years, I haven't found ANY automotive stock worth buying.
Auto manufacturing industry is way down (not the lowest) but close, on investing charts.
I would look at the news for GM and see if anything is happening (like a new CEO that as a track record of turning businesses around) Or signs that they're getting tough against government and union regulations
before I would buy their stock
One stock and industry thats doing great for me ie ESI (ITT institute)
The school industry is doing very well.
IBD also has a web site that is very helpful.

I'm not looking to get into trading or anything, just buy stock on one company. Buying stock in something that's doing well seems kinda pointless to me. The thing is, the auto industry is in the shitter right now, but it IS undoubtedly going to come back. Now is not the right time to buy becasue thats what the numbers say. It's been on a downward spiral for XX months. But, It doesn't have much further down to go. GM could go bankrupt...in which case i lose my couple hundred bucks...but i dont think that very likely. I plan to hold onto it for a while. Even if it takes 10 years, if it gets back up to where it was, i'll be in good shape.
I have been keeping track of the company somewhat...gov't loans, new vehicles,, parterships, etc. I huge company like GM has a lot of baggage it can lose to keep afloat through rough times. They are selling the Saab and Hummer brands, and getting rid of Saturn and possibly Pontiac. They have the Volt (Ampera in europe) set to come out, as well as a few small and city cars. They also have the new Camaro, which had orders piling up, and the CTS, not to mention the Vette(s).
The Volt i think will be their real turnaround car though. The market is hungry for a real, no quirks electric car thats practical and works, and is not priced out of reach.

hmmm...i bet Javier (ATXVR4) could do it. If you could make it down to SA i'd say get in touch with Tyler (jumptman). I believe he has access to a lift at his father's shop (not sure about that though).

Re: 3000gt's/Stealth very own off topic thread: Part Quatre
wassup guys, havn't been on in forever. Life is constantly busy. The house I bought last year has been nothing buy a fixer-upper. 2 pipes burst in the last few months, I've had to gut an entire room, floor, ceiling, walls, etc. Just feel like I've been working on it every day trying to improve it. My gf got laid off, so at least we both have had the time to do it. I finally decided to pick up another real job and just interviewed for a new sales job today...still playing poker on the side, but the more money coming in, the better. We also adopted 3 pitbulls in the last few month, so now the grand total is 5 dogs, and they do their best to keep us busy. All in all life is good, hope you all can say the same. Sorry I havn't been on here or AIM much, I keep saying I will work on that, but who knows.
