Re: 350 should be doing a burnout??? right?

If you want to know what kind of motor it is or what it came out of (year model)just get the numbers off of the back of the motor and look them up on www.mortech.com you can find out everything there.

Re: 350 should be doing a burnout??? right?

I think the only reason people hate on the 305 is because it takes a lot more money to reach the same hp as the 350. They are both great engines but the 350 has more power and room to expand to begin with.

i agree. displacment is your friend in most cases. On the other hand you can make anything fast. Theres 4 cylinders out there making big numbers with todays technology. It's really all how you wanna spend your dollar.

Re: 350 should be doing a burnout??? right?

yea when we are 55yrs old and have colostomy bags.. It's funny the way life works out. You don't start living comfortably until your almost dead lol Most of americans still work after retirment too.. I went to the doctors to get a hearing and eye test done for work and there was this old ass dude that could barley walk, and he was there getting the same test done. he had to get a job and he had already retired.

Re: 350 should be doing a burnout??? right?

i have confidence that whoever is elected will follow in the same empty, brainless, footsteps of the tool before he. the President is just a public puppet on congresses vindictive little hand. All these folks running promise this and that and to make changes, but nothing ever changes.. things always get worse. gas goes up even though exon has been making record profits. Minimum wage is pathetic. There was a article i read that states in order to rent a two bedroom apartment one would have to make at least $14hr. Where do you live making 6.25 an hr... And all you hear about now is how the economy is in a resession. well no shit, no one can effort to buy anything anymore. when i was 17 i could cruise around all day with 5 bucks in the tank. Now 5 bucks gets me about 40 miles in my stupid saturn. This nation needs to pull together and strongly protest these large companies that are essentially ruining this country and many other. there is no god damn reason why gas should be almost 4 bucks. we are not running out of crude oil! and anyways how the fuck would they know that. theres no possible way to know that. are technology just isn't that advanced. Some freakin texan out in the desert ran 1 area dry, turns around and says, " yup shes empty", and now we all pay 3 bucks more for the same shit. It's gay and they will continue this because americans are pussies and let things slide. i wish we were more like israel.. protest with semi automatics and the heads of jews lol no seriously this shit needs to stop.

Re: 350 should be doing a burnout??? right?

From what I've been studying, out of the number of reasons gas prices are sky high, 2 of them play the biggest part.

1. The towel-heads in the Middle East, OPEC. They keep production low and the price of crude high. Some say it's because of Iraq, but the middle east has never had much love for the U.S.

2. Oil Speculators. These are people who keep investing and investing and investing and investing in oil because it's a seemlessly fail-proof investment. There is over $25 BILLION dollars invested in oil, and this provides the oil companies with incentives to jack prices up and make their stocks and futures more and more lucrative, because that's where they make the real money.

I honestly feel that while it won't happen over night, that market has to buckle sometime. We saw it this last year or two in the housing market. It can only support so much inflation. Eventually, the investors will have to start backing out, and in a few years, we'll see a gradual correction to this crisis. Oil production from other countries is starting to catch up with OPEC, and we'll be getting oil from countries that don't have such a fierce hatred for everything that we stand for. Another thing that we NEED to do is kick these liberals out of congress so that we can open up oil production in the United States, and remove some of the overwhelming restrictions on oil refineries that are in place because of the EPA.
