Tinting primer
I was wondering if anyone knew how to tint primer? I want to primer my car a color other than gray, like orange. My friends dad said he would spray it for free if I found out how to do it. So any help would be appreciated.

The reason i want to primer it is ,because I have my paint i just want to wait till i can get the rear, and skirt of the WW kit, all ihave is the front. And the reason the car is under primer is because it had some rust that my friends dad fixed, not to mention the dents and so on. I want orange primer because my car is being painted orange. The reason i hafta wait is because i just got a ZC, suspesion, and new tires and will not have the money till may.

I would just wait till you get all the body kit then, primer absorbs water, if it rains on it...your paint job could be in trouble....

Re: Tinting primer
ON a little different note, I'm painting my car right now, I'm using a PPG 213 Sealer, when that's comming out of the gun, is it supposed to look all watered down? I"m using the recommended 4:1 ratio. There's barely any gray at all.

Re: Tinting primer
There are several ways to go about it, easyest is just to mix paint with the primer. Unless you leave it primered for more than a year or so then you wont have any problems with rust or anything. CBTracker make sure that its adjusted right and accually has enough coming out of the nozzle.
