What does that matter? if its done properly? you cant see what it looks like in the dark when they are on so it dont matter. Also a little bit ago you were just saying those pictures of cutoff are probly stock...so what, it shouldnt be any different. Isnt the whole idea to make the conversion good enough that the cutoff looks stock also?

Re: HID's installed in the TA
id sacrifice a small amount of glare to not do something stupid like trying to fit a round light into a square housing holder.and ud be surprised how many people as to see what it looks like with the lights off and under the hood to try to find the wiring.

Re: HID's installed in the TA
basically, you've done a "bodge" job and thereby haven't done it right. there's glare that you shouldn't have, and overall it's illegal.
and also, your advertising for the kits is not allowed under our rules. remove it or i will.

Re: HID's installed in the TA
Hey I aint gunna lie, i think its pretty cool. My moms car has them from factory and they have beautiful cutout but people are always flashing at ya when u are driving it. Then you just have to hit em even harder with the highbeams right back at em. Then the go swearin to themselfs as they pass ya. I really dont care how bright a persons headlights are, i was taught just watch the curb for a split second as they pass. I thought about putting them in my car, but I really dont care, i can see fine in the dark. I carry a 750,000 candle spotlite with me for out in the country by us if i need it. lol

That's not true, it's not illegal as long as it is properly housed in a DOT approved projector.

Yes, you are doing something different. Kudos to you. But you're doing it wrong, and in an unsafe manner. I already deeply discussed how you can improve your setup. Reread the thread.

The fact that you're willing to produce dangerous lighting conditions for oncoming traffic, just for looks, really shows the kind of person you are. You care more about yourself and how your lights look at night (obviously can't see them during the day) than you do about the safety of others. Congratulations, you're what I like to call, arrogant. The fact that you find it stupid to properly retrofit your lights because of how they would look afterwards clearly shows that.

Like I said above, I've made several posts about how he can go about how he can "make it better" by properly retrofiting his lights. But you're idea about locking this thread does sound good as the point obviously hasn't made it from his eyes to his brain.
Locked..
